Dear Families,
Los Angeles Unified will be offering Acceleration Days on Monday, April 3, and Tuesday, April 4. These days are an amazing opportunity for students to engage in enrichment opportunities and receive targeted instructional support from teachers.
While our school will not be hosting Acceleration Days, our students are invited to participate in Acceleration Days at Independence Elementary located at 8435 Victoria Ave. If you have not registered for Acceleration Days, please know that your student can still participate. Students can go to Independence on Monday, April 3 for automatic enrollment. While every effort will be made to support your child’s attendance, students that are registered after March 29 may not receive select District services like transportation.
All students will receive personalized instruction, enrichment opportunities, breakfast, and lunch to support their academic potential.
Independence's gates will open at 7:30 am. Instruction will begin promptly at 7:50 am and dismissal will occur at 2:09 pm. Students may be dropped off and picked up at Independence's entrance at Post Ave.
Beyond the Bell after-school programs will also be available for interested families.
